The road from the airport to our apartment felt so familiar. I have been coming to Australia for the last 3 years and stayed for 3 months about every time. This time was a little different though. I was welcomed by a cyclone, and as I sit here in Gloria Jeans Coffee shop, I here the waitress saying there were winds up to 140km/hour, and the sun decided to vanish for three days. Never have I felt something like this. After church I wanted to cross the road to get dinner, when the wind literally swept me down the street. It was crazy. But it is over! 4 movies and 1 and a half books later, the sun is out, and its so hot you can’t go outside without jumping in the ocean. Time to start surfing! Just need the sea to calm and water to become less brown and I’m out there. See ya laataaa mate!

packing for the trip!

Boredom on the airport

My coach Mathias, annihilating his spaghetti/avo/egg and what is that? bacon?
