HOMETOWN

I started traveling from the young age of 14, around two years after our family moved to Vic Bay. I remember only going away for two weeks at a time because I would get too homesick. With every year that passed, my itinerary got busier and now, at the age of 20, I manage to stay away from home for months at a time. They say home is where the heart is, and I would have to agree. When I walk down the red paved road towards the point with a board under my arm, I seem to stop and greet with every third step as memories flash passed. I have been to 24 countries to this date, and my favourite place on this planet is still the tiny little coastal village of Vic Bay. It is hard to leave and very easy to miss.
